Hanging Basket & Patio Compost - 60 Litre
A very similar mixture to our peat based multi-purpose compost but with the addition of steam sterilised loam and osmocote slow release fertiliser. Designed to provide a balanced supply of nutrients during a full growing season, for hanging baskets, various patio containers, tubs and troughs etc. The addition of loam enables the compost to be more easily re-wetted if dry, hold more water than peat alone and more importantly, soaks up excess fertiliser salts that can be released during hot spells.
Usage
We make our John Innes and other composts in batches several times a week so you will never receive old stock from us.
Not Suitable for lime-hating subjects like Azaleas, Rhododendrons etc where you will need our ericaceous composts.
