33ltr John Innes Compost

Made only from the very best materials, including sphagnum peat, sand and steam sterilised loam.   John Innes' recipes offer significant advantages over soil-free potting media due to their weight, trace element content and the effect of soil content in avoiding undue chemical and water fluctuations (buffering activity).

Our compost range is made in the traditional way and we do not include any kind of waste material in our products.

Our John Innes Compost is made in the following formulations:

• SEED - for sowing seeds and taking cuttings.
• No.1 - for pricking out young plants and rooted cuttings.
• No.2 - for general purpose potting.
• No.3 - for strong-growing plants (e.g. trees, shrubs, perennials) in containers.

This product is not suitable for lime-hating plants, e.g. rhododendrons, camellias, azaleas etc.
